About Angela Dacey

Although I didn't recognize my intuitive gifts until my early 20's, I had been aware of God, angels and the universe since I was 5 years old.  I still remember walking hand in hand with my Dad one evening around our neighbourhood looking at the stars in the sky.  We would discuss angels and how they help us in our lives and how each of us has a very special spirit within.  That feeling of love from my father mixed with the feeling of love from the other side helped me to trust and become comfortable with the notion that something bigger than me really does exist.

Having me named Angela with the word "Angel" in it, means "Messenger Of God".  This brought me lots of angelic gifts growing up.  Throughout the years I had many angel treasures watching over me.  In addition, I always got the role of playing the Christmas angel in our church Christmas pageant. So needless to say, I had angels from the other side trying to get my attention for a long time with their physical presence.

Not knowing what I was sensing or feeling, I was able to pick up energy as well at a very young age.  I can remember hiding under my covers one night as I knew an Indian Chief was in my brother's bedroom sitting on his bed.  Once I told my brother this realization, he and his friend went to sit in the bedroom for awhile to see what they would find.  Of course, he told me that everything was OK and not to worry.  However, I hated to pass his room for the years following.  I felt as though I was always being watched.  Once I became older, we talked about that event.  He said that actually they saw his bed moving up and down as though someone was sitting on it bouncing and it scared them to death.  He just didn't want to tell his little sister that at the time.  It turns out that my house where I grew up sits on an old Native Indian community!  I was scared of the unknown at the time but now that I know a great deal about the spirit world, I feel very comfortable with that experience.

Opening my store Heaven & Earth in 1996 was a huge catalyst for me learning about and growing within the spiritual realms.  Focusing on alternative health and inspirational gifts, I learned all about energy and how we are all connected to a higher, loving power.  This is where I learned about colour therapy, magnetic therapy, aromatherapy, read tons of self help books, held seminars and workshops on inner peace and self help, purchased my biofeedback system as well as met many fantastic people who counseled and trained me through my own personal journey.  Although I closed my store front after seven years, I credit so much of my personal growth to this time in my life.  Heaven & Earth Inc. still continues to this day with "Helping People Get Unstuck" except now we focus our attention on counseling and training people one on one or in our Journey Of Discovery certified courses.

I get asked frequently if I've always been "psychic" or "intuitive".  I personally feel as though we all are connected from the moment we are born.  It's our life's circumstances that cloud our clarity to the other side as we get older.  Sometimes we have to begin to clear our personal crap so that we can clear our channels to hear the angels and guides waiting to speak to us.

As a counselor and trainer in self discovery, I help people get unstuck with their negative thoughts and feelings.  When the negative energy starts to dissipate and the positive energy re-enters our being, we can begin to increase our intuition, our senses heighten and our connection to the other side becomes brighter and clearer.  That is why after years of working on myself to find balance I can now not only counsel people effectively but bring in messages from the other side during the session.  It seems as though I have a strong connection to people's past loved ones.  Whenever I counsel, a past friend or family member usually comes through with a beautiful message for the person.  It's always with love – nothing else.  I feel so honoured to be a part of that experience.

Throughout the last 15 years, I've learned how to use my angels and guides every day as my messengers from God. They constantly make themselves known to me.  I am surrounded by signs, coincidences, blessings and miracles on the most normal of days.  I am blessed to say that they have supported, guided and inspired me to be the person I am today.    Anyone can have this connection – even you!
